Our History

ATS began business in Auckland as ‘Sprintquip New Zealand Limited’ in 1992 supplying and servicing coin and note counting equipment. The company rapidly established itself as a leader in cash handling products for the financial, retail and gaming industries.

By 2000 Sprintquip had also become a major supplier to the Cash in Transit industry with a range of high volume coin sorters and coin wrapping solutions.

In 2009, Sprintquip entered the Banking Self Service industry, supplying and servicing cash and cheque deposit equipment and change dispensers to the major banks.

More recently Sprintquip merged with Ecom Corporation Banking Solutions, a company servicing both the New Zealand and Australian markets, adding ATMs, TCRs, digital signage, kiosk technologies and software integration to our product line up.

To better reflect the expanded business and product range, we changed our name to Advanced Transaction Systems Limited.

ATS became the partner of choice to major banks and the retail and entertainment industries for the supply and support of a multitude of cash processing systems, financial self-service solutions, transaction and information terminals as well as customized software development and integration.

In November 2015 Glory Ltd. acquired 100% of the issued share capital of ATS. In addition to complementing Glory’s leadership position in banking, ATS’ extensive customer base in the retail industry strengthens the company’s expansion in this strategic growth segment.
